Swish’s In-game Rules Descriptions produced by JennoKoala with the input of various members of the moderation and senior staff team. No Hacked Clients Since the evolution of multiplayer servers, hacked clients have been forbidden on servers that have morally right attitudes. Swish is no exception and, as such, has a zero tolerance attitude to the usage of hacked clients. The term "hacking" refers to using modifications of your vanilla Minecraft client to allow you to perform actions that others can not. This is forbidden. If a staff member feels that a user is conducting such an act - and gains sufficient evidence - the user will be banned. Hacked clients can represent an array of different mods, where some could be legal upon our servers, and some not. A list of approved and disapproved mods can be found below: Approved: > Modloader > Forge Modloader > Show Durability > Better Animations / Animated Player / Better Horses > Any mod that improves how players or mobs look. > AntiSteve > Optifine > Any Minimap Mod that does not have an entity radar > Shaders Mods > Advanced HUD > Mob Dismemberment. > TooManyItems > TwitchTV Chat Mod > Liteloader > MC Capes Mod Disapproved: > Any modpacks that include options such as water-walking, X-ray, flight, sprint hacks, etc. > Autojoin > Gives a high advantage of joining servers above any other player > Any minimap with entity radar enabled > This includes Zan's mini-map and Journey Map as well as any other map with entity radar or Player radar. > Inventory Tweaks > Autoswitch > Makes switching a flawless things to do, providing instant eat-n-attack abilities. > Damage Indicators > KillAura and other Forcefield type Mods > TukMC > NoSlowDown > No Knock Back / Anti-Knock Back > X-Ray Mods > Any mod which allows you to see through blocks. > Entity Proximity Detector > Indicates where Mobs are and how far away they are. > World Downloader Mods > Any mod which allows a player to download maps from the server. > All Flying Mods > Hats mod > FullBright Please note: not every single approved or disapproved mod is on this list. Therefore, it is important to think about this question when logging into the server, ‘Is this mod I am using going to give me an advantage over other users?’ If the answer is yes, but the mod cannot be found in the above list, I suggest you ask a staff member for clarification in order for you to be confident when logging in. Also note that this list can change at any given time, so please ensure you regularly check the rules to make sure you are abiding by them and you are not subject to punishment. The term "ban" refers to not being allowed to join a server. Players are never banned without a reason or cause. The term "mute" refers to not being able to chat on a server. Like bans, players are never muted without a reason or cause. Please ask a Sr Staff member if you feel you were wrongfully banned. If you feel you were unjustly muted or banned, please post in the relevant area on our forum. Any rule broken that may result in a ban or a mute is at the discretion of staff. If they feel your actions warrant a severe punishment, they may. If you experience playing against a user who is breaking this specific rule, please alert a moderator via Teamspeak or in-game. If they are unavailable, and it is possible, record them yourself and report them HERE.
